British Rifle Company - Cameronians

I have a great deal of admiration for the MadTinHatters handiwork and actually put it to use on the tabletop
I also liked the format he used to outline his goal. However I am using cap badges to mark progress, black and white denotes not started, green background as complete.

My Uncle, Bill Alford served in the 6th Battalion of the Cameronians in WW2 as a runner, "Alfie" and later a dispatch rider.  He later went on to serve in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders after the war mainly because it was easier to pull women in the kilt.

  1. Looking forward to seeing your progress on this Des. How are you basing these guys? Individually?

  2. Yes individually for the Riflemen, but very inspired by your dioramas such as the ambulance jeep, would want to think about the company HQ and to put to use Peter Pig's British brewing up

  3. I might have some stuff I'm looking to get rid of/have spare des. Probably some unbuilt 4.2" mortars as I just bought some to steal crew figures - willing to trade my three painted Sherman v's (the first ones I did with the camp netting) for unpainted battlefront Sherman I's as well. Also have 2 air landing 6 pdrs (cut down versions with para crew) I got by accident. Let me know if your interested in anything!

    1. That's assuming your doing 15mm of course!

    2. Yes doing 15mm, could use the ShermanVs got some stuff coming from PeterPig
